Penny Farm is a horse rescue and rehabilitation centre, operated by the charity World Horse Welfare, and welcoming visitors three days a week to meet the ponies and find out more about the work of the charity.
The main stable area is indoors and the site has full disabled access. Visitors are also welcome to walk around the fields and paddocks. During the summer months there is also an activity trail around the farm.
Welcome group visits by appointment, outside normal opening hours.
The visitors centre has a small gift shop and a coffee shop selling snacks and a wide range of homemade cakes. There is a picnic area for the summer months.
The centre runs regular special events including family fun days when children get the opportunity to groom the ponies.
Birthday parties are hosted, suitable for children age six years plus.
